Oh baby! Swaddling 101.

So the first time around I thought eh, swaddling. How hard could that be? A fold here and there and the end result a happy newborn. Um, boy was I wrong. I didn't fully get the hang of it until about a month into my little man's life. Let me tell you. He slept amazingly better after a good swaddle. So this time my little girl is going to be one swaddled bundle of joy whether she likes it or not. Kidding. The whole point is so she likes it. I'm just excited that I don't have a sloppy receiving blanket hanging all over the place like last time. Here's a nice little how to with pictures from Baby Center.

Local Save A Lot Sierra Mist deal.

My local (Little Chute location) Save A Lot has 2 liter Sierra Mist and Diet Sierra Mist on Manager Special for $0.50! Now I want to warn you that these 2 liters expired this May. But, if you have a Graduation party or First Communion or Birthday party anytime soon this is a steal. I'm thinking punch! I heart punch. These weren't in the soda aisle (That I am aware of. I didn't actually go down that aisle so I could be wrong here.), but near the back of the store by the meat. And I don't usually purchase expired food, but soda is my exception.

Pampers deal at Walgreens.

Yesterday I stopped by my local Walgreens to pick up diapers/training pants for not just my toddler, but both of my kids. Whoa, does that sound weird. Not used to saying that yet. ;) I snagged a pack of Pampers Swaddlers and a pack of Pampers Easy Ups. They are on sale for $9.00. If you buy 2 Pampers  diapers you will get a $3 Register Rewards. Now, if you throw in another pack of diapers or some wipes, get yourself over the $20 mark you will get a Catalina coupon for $5 off your next Pampers purchase. Cool. I wasn't expecting the Catalina when I went. After browsing Wild For Wags I realized Christie is waaaay ahead of me. :) So my so so deal turned into a pretty good deal. So for $9.50 you get wipes and two packs of diapers. This price isn't out of pocket, but factoring in the Cat and the RR. And as an added bonus, inside my Easy Ups was a coupon for $1/1 Pampers Kandoo product.

It's a GIRL!

I wanted to let all my readers know that I had my baby and it's a girl! We are all doing great and adjusting to the new addition to our family. I haven't blogged in a while as I am devoting every second of every day to my family and home. I will not be blogging on a schedule unless I find a miraculous 25th hour in my day. And I hate to say it, but if for some reason I find an extra hour in my day I will be using it to take a nap lol. I will be checking in and trying to post here and there, but if you don't see Pig/Save A Lot match ups have no fear. I will be back soon. I want to apologize as for a while my internet has been giving me major issues and then my baby girl came early. I feel like I am letting you down a little. I promise it's not the end of my blog! :) Rose Knows Coupons and Couponing Central do Pig ad match ups if you would like to drop in on either site. I am unaware of any others who do Save A Lot ad matches in Little Chute or surrounding stores. Sorry. See you soon!
